What we do

One senior engineer who learns your app, rather than a helpdesk that starts from scratch every time.

Emergency fixes: Site down, errors on every page, a broken integration. We find the cause, get it working and tell you what happened. Quoted on request; we aim to respond the same working day.
Takeover and handover: We gather the code, access and know-how into one place, set up proper backups and source control, and write down how the app works, so you're never stuck again.
Security and hosting: Apps on Windows Server 2012 R2 lost their last security updates on 13 October 2026. We move them to supported hosting, on Azure or your own servers.
Ongoing care: Monitoring, security updates, fixes and small improvements on a monthly plan, with a reply within one working day.
Upgrades in phases: When you're ready, we move the app to modern .NET a piece at a time, without stopping the business.

What we work with: ASP.NET WebForms, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and WCF on .NET Framework, SQL Server, IIS and Windows Server, Azure, and modern .NET up to .NET 10.

Care plans

After the takeover, most apps need a few hours a month to stay healthy. Plans roll monthly with one month's notice.

Care: £450 a month + VAT; £540 inc. VAT at 20%; Keeps one app healthy: monitoring, security updates, fixes and small changes, up to about 5 hours a month.
Care Plus: £900 a month + VAT; £1,080 inc. VAT at 20%; For busier or more critical apps: the same cover with up to about 10 hours a month.

The takeover is quoted after the free call. Hosting costs are passed through at cost.

Questions

You didn't build our app. Can you still take it on?

Yes, that's the point of this service. Most apps we take over were built by someone else. The first piece of work is understanding it and writing down how it works.

What if we can't find the source code?

Tell us on the first call. Often it can be recovered from the server, a backup or a former supplier, and we'll be honest about what's possible before you spend anything.

How quickly can you respond if it breaks?

We aim to respond the same working day. Care plan clients get a reply within one working day, and we already know their app, so fixes are faster.

How much does an emergency fix cost?

It depends on what's broken, so we quote it once we've seen the problem. Care plans have published prices.

We already have an IT support company. Do you replace them?

No. They look after your computers, network and Microsoft 365; we look after the app. We're happy to work alongside them.

Do your prices include VAT?

No. Tech Pixels Ltd is VAT registered, so VAT is added at 20%. We show the VAT-inclusive figure next to each published price.
