Who we are
Tech Pixels Ltd (company number 13444668) is the controller of personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at info@techpixels.co.uk.
What we collect
Contact form. When you use the form on our contact page we receive your name, work email, company (if you give it), your message, the topic of the page you came from, and, if you choose to tell us, how you heard about us.
Booking a call. When you book a call through our booking page we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), company and website, and what you would like to talk about. Bookings are handled by Microsoft Bookings, part of Microsoft 365.
Free app check. When you use the app check we load the web address you enter once and read what it publicly reports, and use your answers to the questions to work out a result. We don't store the address or your answers unless you choose to send us the report, in which case we receive the report with your name, email, company (if you give it) and any note you add.
Email. If you email us directly, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
Business contacts we approach. We sometimes email people at businesses we think we could help. For this we use a name, work email address, job title and company taken from public sources such as company websites and job adverts. We only contact work addresses, and every email tells you how to opt out.
Website. This website sets no cookies and has no accounts or advertising tracking. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and their device type and country. It uses no cookies and does not identify you or follow you across other websites. Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and secure the website.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, to follow up on business conversations and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and in contacting businesses about services relevant to them, or the performance of a contract where we work together. We do not sell your data or use it for automated decision-making.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivering contact form messages to our inbox), Microsoft 365 (email and call bookings) and Notion (our records of enquiries and business contacts). Where these providers process data outside the UK, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US Data Bridge or the UK international data transfer addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact. Details of business contacts who have not become clients are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, or removed straight away if you ask us to stop. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@techpixels.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
